ABOUT KI KI

Ki Ki's style encompasses many genres. Her inspiration comes from travel, places she's lived, mentors, Mother Nature, and her passion for learning new things and accepting all challenges that come her way.

As a young child, Ki Ki was always curious about people, their love for treasured items and the things that are important to them. “Combining all these elements under one roof is an honor for me. It is what drives me to give my clients a space they can feel proud of.”

Growing up in many places, she could often be found at the homes of her neighbors helping them organize and finding their beloved missing treasures. Each with their own story… Listening to stories about their belongings and the history of them and the meaning they held by their owner is what really drove her to the path Ki Ki is on today. “Redesign and repurpose everything if at all possible!”

Her official title is Asset Manager & Receivership Specialist with an emphasis on Interior Design, which encompasses managing all projects and properties for her clients. Ki Ki’s event and design business has taken her all over the world. In 2020, Ki Ki and her husband Bobby moved from California to Southport, NC to a cozy, historic homestead cottage that they have restored and now call Southport, NC home!

As a seasoned traveler, living bi-coastal was a way of life for Ki Ki.  She enjoys her front porch-living, beach-inspired lifestyle and spending time with family and friends. When she's not working (which is almost never), she can be found picking items from flea markets, specialty shops, and anywhere she can find a treasure or two. She is passionate about preserving the environment and appreciating the beauty and complexity of nature within her projects.

Decades later, Ki Ki is still curious about style, design, life and never stops learning. Her aesthetic is a mix of modern minimalism with a bit of shabby chic, coastal historic cottage charm, and Scandinavian eclectic. But what really drives her design focus is helping clients understand what they love and how they want their space to feel. "I love to inspire and transform spaces," says Ki Ki. "Every client and every project are different. So, for me, I approach projects with a fresh eye and take into consideration personalities, preferences, and lifestyles. My passion in life is to create a partnership my with clients and help to bring more joy and stress relief to their lives!"

Ki Ki's background, work and projects are as varied as her style. She has worked with many celebrities, international clients and high-profile corporations managing hundreds of design projects, from commercial spaces, bed & breakfasts, vacation homes and dream homes in other countries however, her passion is restoring simply stated historic homes and working in her community!
