Intended for clients with large-scale, projects who are looking to hire B&K Home Deign to design and execute their job from start to finish. Full-Service design is best suited for construction projects where B&K Home Design is managing all aspects of the design process for the majority or totality of a home (i.e., large-scale renovations and new builds).
We work closely with architects, builders, and our clients to bring a vision to life, from concepting architectural designs and layouts, through managing construction and hard material selections, through selecting soft furnishings and finishing touches, all the way through final installation.
Our holistic approach to the entire design of your home ensures that B&K Home Design will provide design and project management services through all phases of the project, from initial design concepts, through construction design documents, ordering, tracking and fulfillment of all products, and final install.
-
Currently, we only take on projects that are large in scale and affect the majority or totality of a home, this includes large-scale renovations or new builds.
-
With Full-Service Design, this will vary based on the scope & design of the project. A minimum of $100-175,000 is usually suggested. This includes design fees, materials, and furnishing, but the total project cost depends on a project’s size and needs and may exceed our recommended budget.
-
If you’re interested in engaging our design services for your residential or commercial space, please schedule a consultation and complete the included questionnaire about your design needs. Our team will be in touch within 1-2 business days to request more information if needed and to confirm the consultation.
-
We charge for consultations, which is the equivalent of our hourly Full-Service Design fee. A custom design fee proposal will be shared with you coming out of the consultation meeting demonstrating how many design hours will be needed to complete the project.
-
How do you determine your project fee? Our rate for Full-Service Design varies depending on projects and the project needs. Coming out of the consultation meeting, we'll send you a phase one proposal which will outline the scope of the project and our projected design fee to execute what's needed. Design fees are billed to the client as each phase of the project progresses and are estimated based on the projected number of hours required to design and oversee the completion of the project.
-
1) (1) Hour consultation call to discuss design needs & preferences.
2) (1) Hour on site consultation – Valued at $300 (1) hour free consultation.
3) Custom design fee proposal based on what's needed.
4) (3) Rounds of design review
5) Designs & suggestions of every space to demonstrate conceptual & material direction for all furniture and/or construction design elements.
6) Drawings, when necessary, but not part of the fee. There is a separate fee for drawings.
7) Installation of all rooms included on B&K Home Design’s scope of work.
8) Project management and construction oversight during project duration. This is based on a final agreement and the fee will be more for these services.

Yes, we take this on a case-by-case basis and extend the designer discounts that we obtain from our vendors.
-
Absolutely not! While we will make selections based on what we think will work best for your home, you are not obligated to buy all at once. When you receive your proposal, you will be able to approve or decline items and are welcome to shop on your own or purchase through our website at your convenience. Please note, your client discount will expire six months from the issue date.
-
Yes! We can take any existing pieces you have into consideration when designing for you. We will discuss what you have and would like to incorporate during the immersion.
-
No two projects are alike; therefore, completion times vary depending on the scope of work and type of project. After each consultation meeting, our team pulls together a proposal that includes the estimated costs and timeline for designs. The average design process takes 4-6 weeks to complete before moving into materials selection and install/ renovation. Install and construction timing varies by project type and contractor schedule.
-
As mentioned before, timelines vary from project to project depending on the scope. However, our process remains consistent across all work that we do.
-
And what if I’m only looking for help with light styling/decorating? We fully recognize that employing an interior design firm is a luxury; however, we’re able to accommodate a wide variety of budgets with our design services. Clients work with us for very minimal styling needs all the way to full-scale renovations and new construction. Our goal is to align on budget expectations very early on in the process to make sure everyone involved is on the same page about what’s realistic and which design approach makes most sense for you. As mentioned before, Full-Service Design is solely intended for larger-scale furnishing and construction projects.
-
As part of the design immersion, our team will discuss your design style, preferences, and any design references you have at length to familiarize ourselves with your aesthetic and tailor our designs to your specific needs & tastes. Your home reflects who you are, what you love, and the world you want to create for your family. Everything we do is designed to make your home as “you” as it can be, infused with our B&K Home Design touch.
-
We pride ourselves on the spirit and creative aesthetic of our brand, and in our commitment to exceeding our clients’ expectations, no matter the size of the project. The design process can be overwhelming, so we take our role as leaders in this journey as seriously as our creativity. Our job is to make you excited and at ease every step of the way, whether it’s a full-scale remodel or a simple one-day styling refresh. We are a team of creative thinkers that are collaborative and responsive and have a proven portfolio of relationships and projects that showcase our dedication to our philosophy.
